Ryan Goebel

Ryan joined Fieldwork in September of 2025. Before joining Fieldwork, Ryan worked for various custom market research firms working on both quantitative and qualitative projects across a broad spectrum of topics. In his time conducting custom market research studies, he acquired a deep understanding market research as a whole and established a feel for what makes a great field partner when it comes to recruiting studies.

Ryan graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Throughout his career he has honed his interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Outside of work Ryan has earned his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he has been training for 8 years. He also enjoys fishing the 10,000 lakes found in Minnesota, waking up early to cheer on his favorite soccer team, Arsenal, and attending Minnesota sporting events.

One of my favorite ice-breaker questions to ask people is whether they would have finger-length arms or arm-length fingers and why. It’s just a silly question to get people thinking and have a little bit of back and forth about why they chose their answer.

The Chain of Lakes (Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, and Lake Harriet) and/or Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis. Both are such beautiful areas to get outside and walk around on a nice Midwest day. The houses on the Chain of Lakes are so impressive and beautiful, while the Falls are powerful and amazing to see up close.
