Laurie Oz has been a fabulous Project Manager residing at Fieldwork Chicago-Schaumburg since September 2015. She specializes in team building, and believes in having fun at work. If you ask anyone who knows Laurie, they will tell you that she is the most determined person they know. Her background says it all.
Laurie started working at the age of thirteen, having to obtain a Worker’s Permit to allow her to do so. She graduated Palatine High School in 2001 at the age of 16 years old. She was taking courses at Harper College while she was in her last year of high School. Back in 2004, at the young age of 19, she earned a comprehensive Fine Arts Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication which encompasses Graphic Design, Web Design, Multi-Media, and Advertising.
Before Laurie landed her dream job as a Project Manager at Fieldwork Chicago-Schaumburg, she was an Equipment Manager Trainer for the Cook County Clerk’s Office for four years. When Laurie wasn’t training for the county, she was shaping young minds as a substitute teacher in three regions of Illinois, spanning throughout Cook and DuPage County, teaching grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Including her Substitute Teacher Licensure, she also holds a Catechist Certification, teaching the Youth Ministries of the Archdiocese of Chicago. What she is most proud of is her Ordination Certificate which blesses her with the honor of Performing Weddings, presiding over Funerals and performing Baptisms.
She is a confident and energetic professional who is a valuable team player that strives to continue its leadership in world-class marketing research services and facilities, as it has been for over 30 years. She has certainly found her place in the world.
