Isyemille LaraProject Support, Network-Domestic
Isyemille has been an employee of Fieldwork Network since 2007, with a break from 2009-2011. Her role there includes a variety of responsibilities; being first employed as an office manager, she evolved quickly into the role of project manager, and works presently as project support, semi-remotely.
Isyemille has lived in Chicago since 2003, and after many changes in concentration, is currently acquiring a degree in Linguistics with a concentration in Spanish. During her break from the Network, she lived in Mexico and worked as an ESL teacher for both primary school and college-level students.
Apart from her responsibilities with Fieldwork and her studies, she is also planning to publish an anthology of poetry this year, and has a 4 year-old son, Inka Aureliano. In her free time she enjoys listening to doo-wop and classical music, learning guitar, building castles out of blocks with Inka, and attempting to write the next great American short story.
