Elana Sorkin began her career with Fieldwork Chicago Downtown in a Client Liaison position. She quickly worked her way up to Project Manager before being named president of Fieldwork Atlanta in 2007.
Elana graduated with her first Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications. At that time she also received a certification to teach high school speech, all from Northeastern Illinois University. Soon after graduation, she realized teaching in the high school environment was not for her.
Elana decided to change directions after graduating from Northeastern Illinois University and started working in web design. After receiving her second bachelor's degree in that field, she then switched gears and began her career with Fieldwork Chicago Downtown. She held that position for 3 years before being named President of Fieldwork Atlanta. The prospect of living in a different city was thrilling. Atlanta has welcomed Elana in the true southern way. However, she still professes that she will always be a diehard Cubs fan.
Elana has been an active member of MRA for the last 3 years in Chicago and plans to continue her involvement in Atlanta.
